Santa Came to Visit

This is the expressions on Lydia's face when she saw Santa come into our house last night.

She sat on his lap and did pretty good. But she has told me that she doesn't want him to come back today.

The other two boys that were at our house didn't like him lets just say there was lots of tears.

You have got to see this!

When filming this commericail they noticed what looks like a figure of a ghost watch and see if you can spot it out in the upper right hand corn when the car comes out from around the trees on the last bend. here is the link to you tube.

4th of July Parade

I couldn't wait to post these picture from this morning. I decided to decorate Lydia's car last night for the parade and well I sort of got in over my head. I decided I wanted it to look like a firecracker as you can see. The front was made with our office waste baskest and the fumes in the back was a tomato sauce can. I had alot of fun decorating in and couldn't wait to see Lydia's face when she saw it. She keep saying "Hi Car" it was hillarous. She had alot of fun and so did the big kids as you will see in the pictures below.

A little American Firecracker
Two big kids!

America is #1.

Baby Quail

Taylor caught a baby Gambel Quail in our backyard yesterday there was a family with about 6 babies running through it was way cute. I looked up an article about Quail after we caught him and found it very interesting. FYI we did let him go right after I got some pictures.

Ms. Personalily

Lydia has quite the personality she makes me laugh everyday. This was yesterday ha ha ha. I am the Luckiest mom ever and she is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Lydia is missing her boys!

Those of you that really know how to use photoshop you will get a good laugh out of my editing abilities but I was just playing around and I tried a few new things.

Tonight I loaded a bunch of pic of my camera from the last couple of week and I thought these pic of Lydia, Jacob, and Joe were so cute. She saw them and was saying there names tonight. I think she really misses these guys. As much as I have liked having time off from babysitting I have missed them too.

Joe told his mom the other night that he wishes Lydia was his sister.

Joe loves to tease Jacob he always asks him "do you love Lydia" then Jacob reponds "Yes".

When it rains it pours!

By the end of this post you will be thinking wow when it rains it pours on The Ricks Blog but I have to post in bulk or I won't get it done. So here it goes. Church is keeping me running this week I have been making things for enrichment, were having a this and that night. I made Lydia a pillowcase dress and me a pillowcase top they are way easy and fun. I also made a scripture bag out of a place mat it is not pictured here. Also last night all the YW came over to my house and we tie dyed a bunch of t-shirst for girls camp they turned out very cute as well.

Lydia loves swimming in here pool in the yard it is hillarous to watch her. When I get her dress in her swim suit she know that she is going swimming and it not happy until she is in the pool.

My neighbors brought there cute boys over to play. Lydia wouldn't stay in the pool with them and play she was to busy turning around in circles making herself sick.

I took this pictures yesterday this face made me laugh everytime I looked at it. I just wonder what she is thinking.
A couple of weeks ago Tay and I took my parents and Sadie rock climbing it was so fun. Both Sadie and my Mom were so sore after, but I think they had a good time.

Brad and Autumn you guys are too cute.
