Penny's Blessing

Thanks to all of you that came for Penny's blessing. It was a beautiful day and the blessing was very special to us. Thanks to Hillary from billiebrand shop on etsy for the darling headband. A special thanks to Penny's great grandma Walker for the beautiful dress it is a keepsake to say the least. Penny is 2 months old today we feel so blessed to have her in our home.

Sisters

I am so glad these two have each other. I loved having sisters and a bother, but there is some thing special about a sister. Lydia always wants to hold Penny when she gets up in the morning and snuggle her on my bed.

I am just a little Girl

The other day Taylor took Lydia with him to do some surveying. Lydia was playing on some dirt hills close by when Taylor saw her sit down and put her head in her hands. He called to her and she look up and she was crying. So Taylor went over to see what was wrong. When Taylor ask her she said," Dad you left me and I am just a little girl." Taylor said it broke his heart that she thought he had left and that she just keep telling him that she is just a little girl over and over again. I think we sometimes expect alot from Lydia and it was a good reminder to me that she is " just a little girl."
